StrålevernRapport 6:2018 Affecting the Assessments of Impacts of Radioactive and Hazardous Waste
Based on the identified need to develop coherent approaches applicable for radioactive and hazardous waste types, as well as to mixed waste such as NORM waste, a study to address the issues affecting the assessment of impacts of disposal of radioactive and hazardous waste was done internationally by members of the Bioprota forum. Details on key objectives, main findings and results of the study are given in this report.

StrålevernRapport 2:2018 Radioecology as a support to regulatory decision making
This report describes given presentations and main conclusions from an International Workshop on supportive role of radioecology in regulatory decision-making processes. The overall objective of the workshop was to evaluate progress and enable further linking of radioecology with regulatory needs in case of NORM and other legacies, and their waste. Workshop aimed to provide a general forum for discussion and understanding between scientists and regulators concerning various NORM legacy issues and to consider how radioecology can ensure input to a more comprehensive approach to deal with legacy issues.

StrålevernRapport 10:2012 Radioactivity in the marine environment 2010
In 2010, samples of sea water, sediment, and biota were collected in the Barents Sea, the North Sea, the Skagerrak and at a number of coastal stations and fjords. Data on radioactivity levels and trends in these areas are summarised in this report.

Alunskifer inneholder naturlig forekommende radioaktive stoffer.
