This folder contains information on electromagnetic radiation from antenna systems. It is aimed at people who, through their work on communications equipment, may be exposed to electromagnetic radiation at levels that exceed the action levels for occupational exposure to electromagnetic fields.

The report presents the national UV- and skin cancer strategy. The strategy’s aim is to reduce incidence and mortality from skin cancer in Norway. The strategy in its original form is published in Norwegian and as DSA report 2019: 02. This report presents a translated version of the strategy itself, without attachments.

Norway has signed the Convention on Nuclear Safety and is therefore obliged to report on the status of the nuclear facilities in Norway every third year. This is Norway’s eighth report under the convention.

Do not use sunbeds. There is a proven risk of skin cancer associated with using sunbeds, and there is no safe lower limit for exposure to UV radiation from sunbeds.
