Denne rapporten beskriver alle presentasjoner og diskusjoner fra en workshop, som også resulterte i å identifisere videre forskning og samarbeidsbehov. Workshopen ble arrangert av Statens Strålevern, med offisiell støtte fra IAEA, NEA og ICRP . Målet med seminaret var å dele erfaringer om praktisk regulering av et bredt spekter av atomarv, fra første anerkjennelse gjennom til full oppløsning.

Sannsynligheten for at en alvorlig atomhendelse skal inntreffe og ramme Norge eller norske interesser vurderes som liten. Men hvis en hendelse først inntreffer, kan det medføre svært store helsemessige, miljømessige eller andre samfunnsmessige konsekvenser. Enkelte grupper i befolkningen, særlig knyttet til reindrift eller utmarksbruk, er spesielt sårbare.

In 2014 a joint Norwegian Russian expedition visited the site of the sunken nuclear submarine K-159 in the Barents Sea. No indication of any leakage from the reactor units of K-159 to the marine environment was detected.

This report describes work carried out in 2008–2009 under the NRPA – Federal Medical-Biological Agency regulatory support program. It focuses on development of improved regulatory documents and supervision of remediation activities due to be carried out at Andreyev Bay, Saida Bay and Gremikha in Northwest Russia. The work program for 2010–2011 is also introduced.

Veilederen viser hvordan en del generelle krav i "Forskrift om strålevern og bruk av stråling" kan oppfylles innen nukleærmedisinsk virksomhet. Dette gjelder bl.a. krav til godkjenning, melding, apparatur og utstyr, skjerming, dosegrenser, persondosimetri, kompetanse og spesielle krav til medisinsk strålebruk etc.
